“loved our room!”
My sister Dee and I stayed at your inn this past week from Sunday to Wednesday morning. We loved our room, the ambience, the management, the scent from the fragrant petunias, the pool area, the lovely grounds, the delicious breakfast that was provided each morning, the laundry facilities and just about everything else we encountered there. Oh! And I must also mention how sparkling clean the room and bathroom were, which made our time at the inn very comfortable.

“pleasantly surprised!”
My extended family stayed one night at this hotel , while we were waiting for our cottage to be available the next day. We had passed by this motel many times in the past and knew that it was in need of some TLC, but my sister chose this motel because the rooms had refrigerators and microwaves, and the rate was reasonable compared to some others. We were pleasantly surprised ! The rooms have all been recently renovated, the pool is spotless, and the grounds are very well kept. We loved the added touch of the well-stocked continental breakfast in the morning. The owners are very friendly and are accommodating. There is a washer/dryer for guest use. Our room had one full size bed and a full sized pull out sofa. This was a bit cramped for a family of 5 – but would work very well for smaller families. Larger families should probably book more than one room. Rooms are air-conditioned. Bathrooms with shower, no tub are small but serviceable.

“great motel for a get away!”
The best part of this hotel is the fact that it allows dogs. This made it so easy for me so that I didn’t have to get a dog sitter. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained. There is a nice continental breakfast available. This is a great motel for a weekend get away. It isn’t fancy but it is quite comfy. The family that owns it is very easy going and the price is certainly affordable. Additionally, we were able to check in early per our request. The owners were very accommodating.

With Cape motels you expect to find a run down, dark and not so clean room. Not at the Handkerchief Shoals Inn! The rooms were clean, bright and comfortable (the AC units worked, too!) and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They have a good sized, clean pool and continental breakfast in the morning. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone looking to save some money when staying on the Cape. It’s also great for large groups—very accommodating.

Nicest motel staff I have ever met. The room was spotless and the grounds well kept. Did not get to use the pool, but it looked nice. Continental breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to going back soon for a weekend away!

We stayed at the Handkerchief Shoals for a few nights, and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and spacious, and they offered a complimentary continental breakfast. There was also a sparkling clean pool. It is definitely a great value for the price, and only a short drive to downtown Chatham, harbors and the beaches.

We came for a weekend and ended up staying almost a week. We had so much fun! Bar-B-Qued a couple of nights (they have bar-b-q grills set up for the guests to use as well as laundry facilities! – FREE of charge! -) The boys had a great time meeting other kids staying there. We got the boys an adjoining room. This is absolutely very family friendly.

Came down with some friends for a long weekend and had a great time. We happened to meet the owners (who were very knowledgeable of the area for things to do – actually both were native Cape Codders). We walked to the beach just down the road, very nice!

I got married at the Wychmere Harbor Club, and had many of my guests book at the Handkerchief Shoals. My husband and I stayed the night after our wedding as well. We had very prompt and helpful responses for all our questions. The guests all had a lovely time staying there, and it was overall a great spot. The pool was lovely as well! Thanks so much for a great time.
